8x10 inches, 5:5, Unframed Painting by Kitt Shaffer of Westport, MA. Kitt Shaffer has always explored the intersection of art and science, coming from a family of artists and craftsmen. In college, she minored in Fine Arts, pursuing drawing, particularly figure drawing, as well as sculpture. In medical school, she took up pastels, watercolors and colored pencil, producing small vibrant landscapes from her many travels. Her most recent works include painted furniture and white line printing as well as landscapes in oil and pastel and figure drawing and painting. She has particular interest in landscapes of the Southcoast region. Her many shows in New England and Italy, and examples of her work can be seen on her website.
